Product Principle:


A booster cylinder is a hydraulic component that converts input pressure to a higher output pressure. A booster cylinder is a combination of a hydraulic cylinder and a booster. This system utilizes the principle that while the pressure remains constant, the pressure varies when the pressure area decreases. This allows the cylinder to increase the pressure by dozens of times. For example, a preloaded booster cylinder: when the working air pressure hits the surface of the hydraulic oil (or piston), the hydraulic oil compresses the air and flows into the preload stroke chamber. This pressure rapidly pushes the component to move. When the working pressure encounters resistance greater than the air pressure, the cylinder stops. At this point, the booster chamber of the booster cylinder is activated by an electrical (or pneumatic) signal, increasing the pressure and achieving the desired product shape.


Structure and Advantages and Disadvantages


A gas-liquid booster cylinder uses standard air pressure to achieve the high output of a hydraulic cylinder, without the need for a hydraulic unit. Its structure consists of an air cylinder, an oil cylinder, and an air-to-oil converter. Features: 1. Fast speed and stable output. 2. Simple installation, easy adjustment and maintenance. 3. High output, can reach the highest output of the oil pressure. 4. Easy access to the power source. 5. Low operating noise. 6. No disturbance caused by oil pressure system heating. Disadvantages: 1. The stroke of the gas-liquid booster cylinder is limited to a certain range. 2. The maximum tonnage generally does not exceed 100 tons (in theory, the stroke and output generally directly affect the size of the booster cylinder, the frequency of operation, the energy consumption, etc.)
